Eternal Security in Christ Part 1.
People of the world there is indeed eternal security in Christ Jesus.
People of the world a believer in Jesus Christ cannot lose his or her eternal salvation, and I will prove this once and for all with the uncompromising word of God (the Holy Bible). I've written this page to assure believers and to tell unbelievers that there is true eternal security in Jesus Christ.
This is one of the Deadliest lies of Satan.
Deadly lie of Satan #1. The devil deceives people by telling them that believers in Jesus Christ can lose their eternal salvation.
People of the world, a born - again Christian (who is a child of God) cannot lose his or her eternal salvation! This is because we are not saved by our
works or deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 4) (Titus 3:5-7) we are saved by God because of our faith in the person of His Son Jesus Christ (Galatians
2:16) (John 3:16) (Acts 16:30-31). So, since It's true that I'm not saved by my works or deeds, It's also true I cannot lose my eternal salvation
because of my works or deeds. This is because salvation has nothing to do with us or our works, salvation is all about what God has done for you
through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ on that cross. A person may argue and say well If a Christian can never lose his or her salvation then are
you saying they can live anyway they please and thus have a license to sin? People of the world, no true believer in Jesus Christ feels as If he
or she has the license to sin. The Holy Spirit will convict us (true believers in Christ) of sin when we commit it and when we're going off on
the wrong path. The Bible says that The Holy Spirit is the believer's Comforter, Counselor and Guide (John 14:16-17, 26) (John 15:26) (John
16:7-15).
He (The Holy Spirit) will lead us believers into all truth (John 16:13). The bible says that The Holy Spirit will be with us, in us, and upon us
(John 14:16-17) (Acts 1:8). If The Holy Spirit is truly in you, you cannot live and dwell in sin for long, you will be absolutely miserable until you
repent and confess your sin before God (Psalm 32:1-6) (Psalm 38:17-18). This is because the Lord chastens those whom He loves (Proverbs 3:11-12) (Psalm 118:18)
(Revelation 3:19-21), This means the Lord will discipline us when we stray away from him because of sin (Psalm 32:4) (Proverbs 3:11-12). He does this
because He loves us and wants the very best for us in our lives. He loves us too much to leave us where we are. Also, what you must consider is this "There are many people who think they are saved, (that is) there are many people who call themselves Christians but truly
they are not. This is why the Bible tells us to examine ourselves and make sure that we are in the faith (2 Corinthians 13:5). Jesus also spoke of
false believers who will cry out to him on the day of judgment (Matthew 7:21-23). Let's read this verse together "21"Not everyone who says to me,
'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22Many will say to me on that day,
'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and in your name drive out demons and perform many miracles?' 23Then I will tell them plainly, 'I
never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!' This unfortunately people of the world will be said by Jesus to many false believers who are not saved at all.
People of the world if we were truly saved or lost by our works then no one could be saved! Why is this one may ask? This is because we are all
evil sinners who sin against God constantly knowingly and unknowingly. All sin is sin, and each individual sin is worthy of an eternal hell. If God
didn't save us (rescue us himself that is from sin) then no one could be saved. If you were honest with yourself, you would know this to be true
too. Don't look at someone else's sinful life look at your own (Luke 6:41-42)! You, nor I deserve to be saved and you know it, You nor I
deserve to be forgiven and you know it, You nor I deserve to be loved by God considering the fact that we have sinned against him not once or twice
but multiple times in our lifetime. My people, this is what makes the gospel so glorious and amazing, God wants to give sinful men (You and I)
something we don't deserve which is His forgiveness, which is His love and which is ultimately His gift of salvation which comes through the
Sacrificial Lamb of God (who is His Son the Lord Jesus Christ)(John 1:29-36). He is God's gift given unto us (humanity)(John 3:16)(Isaiah 9:6)!
The Bible declares in 1 Timothy 1:15 "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save
sinners; of whom I am chief.
Let that verse of Scripture be our stand. Paul, one of the most dedicated, passionate, and devout followers of Jesus Christ literally thought of
himself as the chief of sinners who didn't deserve to be saved! This is coming from Paul! The very one God used so mightily and powerfully by His
Spirit to change the world upside down for Jesus (Acts 17:6). I'm speaking of Paul whom The Spirit of God used so powerfully to write at least 2/3 of
the new testament! The Bottom line is this "All are depraved wicked sinners who all need the Savior Jesus Christ to be cleansed of all our
sins (Jeremiah 17:9) (Romans 3:23) (1 John 1:8-10) (Romans 6:23) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38). No one is better than anyone else. Thanks be to God
that Jesus graciously came into the world to save us from our enslavement to sin (1 John 4:14) (1 Timothy 1:15) (John 3;16)! How can you not serve
and worship Jesus after knowing what he has fully done for us guilty sinners there at the cross? All those who trust in him will be saved by
God everlastingly and will never lose their eternal salvation.
The Bible so clearly teaches that once a person places their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior they are declared righteous by God (Acts 13:38-39)
(Romans 3:28) (Romans 4:3) (Romans 5:1) (Romans 10:10) (Galatians 2:16) (Galatians 3:24), God then gives them His Spirit (The Holy Spirit) and
seals them unto the day of redemption (Galatians 3,2) (Ephesians 1:12-14) (1 Corinthians 6:11, 19) (Ephesians 4:30), then their names are written in
the Lamb's book of life (Luke 10:20) (Revelation 3:5), and thus they are saved eternally by the grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-10) and can never lose
their eternal salvation (John 10:28) (Romans 10:13) (1 John 5:11-13). This is exactly what the bible declares and teaches.
Here below are just a few scriptures that prove we are saved eternally by the grace of God once we place our faith in Christ Jesus.
Romans 4:5 reads,
"But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness."
This is how Abraham was saved in the Old Testament, i.e., his faith was counted for righteousness (Genesis 15:6).
Acts 10:43
teaches that Old Testament sinners were saved exactly as they are today... "To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name (Jesus)
whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins."
John 3:16 says:
"For God so loved the world that He gave His Only Begotten Son (Jesus) that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."
John 5:24 states:
"Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into
condemnation; but is passed from death unto life."
John 10:28-30 says:
28And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29My Father, which gave them me,
is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand. 30I and my Father are one.
Romans 10:9-13
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved. 10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the scripture saith,
Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is
rich unto all that call upon him. 13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
1 John 5:11-13
11 And this is what God has testified: He has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 Whoever has the Son has life;
whoever does not have God's Son does not have life. Conclusion 13 I have written this to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, so that you may know you have eternal life.
I love this verse (13)! that we may "KNOW," not think, but KNOW that we have eternal life. If you can lose it, then is it eternal? No! When God
promises us eternal life, that is exactly what He means. God means what He says and says what He means. Jesus didn't say, "I give unto them temporal
life"; no rather, He said, "I give unto them eternal life (John 10:28)." We believers in Jesus Christ are eternally secure in (His) Jesus' arms.
Believers in Jesus Christ listen up "rest assured that there is security in Christ Jesus. He and He alone is 100% faithful and reliable. you can
trust His word. If you believe Jesus died on the cross to pay the full penalty for all of your sins, and If you believe He arose bodily from the
grave then rest assured you are indeed saved everlastingly and can never lose your eternal salvation. That is the sovereign promise of an Almighty God!"
The word of God so reads in Deuteronomy 33:27 "The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms..."
I'll give you even more examples. Other things to consider here below.
- A Father and son relationship.
Let's think about this in the natural sense first, For example a father who has a son will be that child's father forever. It doesn't matter if
that child moves out of his house or not. It doesn't matter if that child gets married or not, It doesn't matter what that child ends up doing or
becoming in his life etc. (Nothing I repeat nothing) that the child can do in his life can stop him from being a son). In the same way when a person
has truly come to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of their sins and eternal salvation, the bible says they have been born again, they have
been birthed into the family of God (John 1:12) (John 3:3-7). This means they become God's child (a son of God that is), this happens
instantaneously, and God immediately becomes their Father. The bible says, "Nothing in all of creation can separate a believer in Jesus Christ from
the love of their Savior (Romans 8:31-39)." The moment a person comes to Christ, God becomes their father and they are in his care from thence on
to forevermore, they are in his everlasting arms, God saves them eternally and they shall never lose their eternal salvation (Galatians 3:22-26)
(Galatians 4:4-6)(Ephesians 3:6)(1 John 2:12)(1 John 5:1) (Revelation 21:7)(John 10:27-30).
- The Prodigal Son story.
Remember the prodigal Son story? A child wanted all his inheritance upfront before his father died. He received if from his father, packed up
his things and left his family. He squandered all his money, all his inheritance on wild living and prostitutes. When he came to the point of
imminent death, he came to himself the bible says and returned to his father. He was so ashamed of the way he ruined his life he wanted his
father to treat him as one of his servants, instead the father was so glad to have him back he treated him as his own son and took care of him as one
who was royalty (Luke 15:11-32). The father forgave him and showed him love, grace, and mercy when he did not deserve it. This story is a
glorious picture of the gospel(which was God's intent by the way). We all have sinned against God; we all have been just like that prodigal son at
some point in our lives. We are no different than him. We all have sinned royally and wanted to do things our own way. But God in his grace and
mercy still loves us and wants us to return to him. Just as the father in (Luke 15) had compassion for his own son, likewise God the Father has
compassion for sinful humanity and he shows this compassion through the person of His Son Jesus Christ by all He (Christ) has done for us to
forgive us and to save us from the eternal penalty of our sins. God wants none to perish but wants all to be saved through his Son Jesus. He wants
all people to become his children through faith in Jesus.
- The cooking pot story.
When you believe in Jesus as Savior, the fullness of the Godhead comes to live on the inside of you forever (Revelation 3:19-21) (Galatians 3,2) (Ephesians
1:12-14) (1 Corinthians 6:11, 19) (Ephesians 4:30). This is just another reason why it is impossible for a believer in Christ to lose his or her eternal salvation.
I'm going to give you an example to show how secure a believer is in God. Now Imagine four items. A cooking pot (is the first item), the water
that's inside the pot (is the second item), soup that will be poured inside the water (is the third item), and a lid for the pot (is the fourth item).
In this example the cooking pot itself represents God the Father, God the Son Jesus Christ represents the water that is already inside the pot, the
soup represents the believer in Christ that is poured into the water, and the lid of the pot represents God the Holy Spirit.
When a person gets saved by placing their trust in Jesus as Savior, they are secure in God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Just
as the lid for the cooking pot secures what's inside the pot, the bible says God the Holy Spirit seals all believers and secures them unto the day
of redemption. He secures all those who believe in Jesus.
- The self - righteous hypocrite.
Those who say you can lose your eternal salvation are either (A) proud self - righteous hypocrites, (B) they are either ignorant to the word of
God,(C) they are just plainly false teachers, or (D) it's very possible they're not saved at all, this is because they are trusting works and good
deeds to save them and not Christ and Christ alone. One may say how are they hypocrites by saying a believer in Jesus can lose their salvation?
Here's how: they are essentially saying that everyone else can lose their salvation because of some sin that they've committed but not them. They
are basically saying that they are better than those around them. This type of proud thinking was condemned by Jesus in scripture (Luke 18:9-14)
All sin (I repeat all sin) is worthy of an eternal hell. So, if we can lose our eternal salvation because of sin then no one (I repeat no one) will be
saved by God for all are sinners! Read that last statement I just made again
- Ignorant of the word of God.
Those who say you can lose your eternal salvation are ignorant to the clear teachings of the word of God. The bible says countless times that
when you believe in Jesus the Son of God you shall have everlasting life.
When I was younger in my faith, I used to believe that once saved always saved was a lie because that's what I was taught too by some people and it
sounded right and fair. But we people must decide are we going to trust our emotions and what someone tells us? Or are we going to trust the word
of God? After I did a careful study of the Bible for myself, The Holy Spirit taught me the truth about salvation in His word. Salvation is not
by works it is by faith in Christ Jesus alone. I was ignorant of the clear teachings of the word of God. I just had not studied the totality of
scripture. But now I know without a shadow of a doubt that once a person places their genuine faith in Jesus for salvation, God saves them, and He
secures them (his children) everlastingly. Salvation is a work of God not man. God initiated salvation, He sent His Son to pay for our sin debt in
full at the cross, Jesus paid our sin debt in full at the cross and he proved this by his own words when he said "It is finished (John 19:30)."
And He secures those who trust in him.
Those who say you can lose your eternal salvation by their own words they have just proven they have not fully understood the gospel and furthermore
they have not fully understood what Jesus has done for them on that cross. They do not fully understand the vast love of God. For the love of God is
the gospel. For the love of God is manifested in the person of Christ Jesus. The love of God is displayed for all on the cross by Jesus dying for all man's sins.
- Listening to someone that you trust without checking and studying the word of God for yourself.
Some people trust other people to their own peril and eternal destruction. They would rather listen to the wisdom of men rather than listen to the wisdom from God.
- Traditions.
Some people would rather hold onto their traditions and go to hell rather than forsaking their traditions and follow the truth.
- Jesus never said that a person can lose their eternal salvation. Never.
This should settle this issue. Not once in the whole Bible has Jesus ever said a person can lose their eternal salvation.
- If I can lose my eternal salvation then it's not eternal.
If I can lose my eternal salvation, then it's not eternal its temporary. And If salvation is dependent upon our righteous lives or good behavior
then we are all in trouble and no one will be saved! This is because all have sinned, all do sin, and all will sin in the future, and the bible is crystal clear
that the wages of sin is death followed by an eternal hell (Romans 6:23).
Something else to consider
- If I can lose my eternal salvation then Jesus is a liar because He said that those who believe in Him shall have everlasting life and shall never
perish (John 3:16) (John 5:24) (John 10:27-30).
This would make him a liar which would make him a sinner (since lying is a sin (Exodus 20)), which would then disqualify him from being God and our Savior since both of those titles must be sinless and perfect. Anyone who says Jesus is a liar is deceived and is in direct conflict with the Holy Scriptures. The Holy bible is crystal clear that Jesus was/is sinless and perfect (1 John 3:5) (1 Peter 1:19) (1 Peter 2:22) (1 Peter 3:18) (Hebrews 7:25-27).
- If this false theory were true that a believer in Jesus Christ can lose their eternal salvation this would contradict at the very least thirty scriptures.
Need I say more? How many scriptures must contradict for someone to believe that this teaching is false? Here below are just a few of the
scriptures that would contradict itself if losing eternal salvation was true.
(John 3:16) (John 5:24) (John 6:37-39) (John 10:27-30) (Romans 4:5) (Romans 5:9-11) (Romans 8:1, 31-39) (1 Corinthians 1:8) (Romans 10:9-13) (Acts 10:43) (Acts 13:38) (Ephesians 1:7) (Ephesians 4:30) (Hebrews 7:25) (Hebrews 13:5)
(1 Peter 1:5) (Jude 1:24-25) (1 John 4:14) (1 John 5:1-5, 11-13) (Psalm 37) (Psalm 97) (Psalm 121:4-7) (2 Timothy 1:12) (2 Timothy 4:18) (Revelation 1:5).
Summary
- My people, we are not saved by our works or deeds (Ephesians 2:8-9) (Romans 4) (Titus 3:5-7) we are saved by God because of our faith in the person of
His Son Jesus Christ (Galatians 2:16) (John 3:16) (Acts 16:30-31). People of the world don't misunderstand me now, we should indeed live godly lives as the children of God. We should indeed strive to do our best by the power of the Holy Spirit in the name of Jesus Christ the bible is clear on that. The bible is also crystal clear that all who love the Lord should hate evil (Psalm 97:10). These are all sound bible teachings. So yes, we should live pure and holy lives as the children of God by the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit (Philippians 2:14-15). However, we do this not to be saved, but because we are saved. Now that we are born again through faith in
Jesus, we want to live for Christ we want to show him our love, our service and our gratitude for what he has done for us there at the cross. We want to follow righteousness and holiness and this is because we are now new creatures in Christ (meaning now we have a new nature and we have this new nature because we have obeyed the word of God by placing our genuine faith in Christ Jesus our Savior) (2 Corinthians 5:17). However, the truth remains
that we still struggle in this life with the flesh. We still struggle with sin. Anyone who says that they never struggle with sin is lying to himself and to God (Romans 7). Thanks be to God that we have won the victory over this evil world, the flesh, and the devil through our Savior Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 7:24-25) (1 Corinthians 15:57) (1 John 1:1-5).
What we believe about the Christian Walk
We believe that we have a holy calling to walk not after the flesh but after the Spirit, and so to live in the power of the indwelling Spirit in
order that we will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. The flesh is never eradicated in this life. Individuals must choose to keep the flesh in
subjection to Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Spirit, or it will surely manifest its presence in life and dishonor our Lord. (Romans
6:11-13; 8:2, 4, 12-13; Galatians 5:16-23; Ephesians 4:22-24; Colossians 2:1-10; 1 Peter 1:14-16; 1 John 1:4-7; 3:5-9)
- So, since It's true that I'm not saved by my works or deeds, It's also true I cannot lose my eternal salvation because of my works or deeds. This
is because salvation has nothing to do with us or our works, salvation is all about what God has done for you through His Son the Lord Jesus Christ
on that cross. Our salvation was provided when Jesus sacrificed his life to save us shedding his own blood on that cross. Jesus said, "It is
Finished." He did all the work, so he gets all the glory. Our job is simply to believe in what he has already done at that cross for us. Salvation is
like God the Father calling us to sit down at a table to feast. God himself has already prepared the meal, God says come sit down and receive my bread of
life. Jesus is the bread of life that came down unto us from heaven, once we receive him, we have everlasting life (John 6:22-51). The only people
who do not have everlasting life are the people who have ultimately refused to receive the bread of life (Jesus Christ) (John 3:18) (John 8:24).
Here at Salvation Disease Ministries we believe in The doctrine of eternal security for the believer in Christ because the bible plainly teaches it.
We reject the demonic blasphemous heresies of Arminianism. Arminianism teaches that a believer in Jesus Christ can lose their eternal salvation. This heresy is false and unbiblical and comes straight from the devil.
Anyone who teaches and or preaches this teaching is teaching and preaching a false gospel. This is not the gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The gospel is not place your faith in Jesus for salvation and you might be saved, the gospel is place your faith in Jesus for salvation and YOU WILL BE SAVED. The word of God is clear that whosoever believes in the Son of God (Jesus Christ) shall not perish (shall not perish) but have
everlasting life. The redeemed of the Lord (those who believe in Jesus Christ and trust in him alone for salvation) are kept by God's power and not our own. People of God, we do not keep ourselves saved by our own cleverness, strength, and power. We are saved and kept saved only by the power and grace of God. If God didn't keep us saved by his grace and mercy, then no one could ever be saved. We are kept by God's power only because
we trusted in His Son Jesus and are thus secure in him (The eternal Christ) forever.
The bible says what makes a sinner qualified for heaven is his faith in Jesus' death, burial, and bodily resurrection. When people say someone can lose their eternal salvation 99% of the time, they're looking at the individual and not at God. And that is the problem right there, meaning they're looking in the wrong place. Salvation is a promise (a gift that is) that God gives to sinful man when they believe in His Son Jesus. It is something that God promises and something that He (God) will make sure it's carried out to its completion because He is faithful to his words and He cannot lie (Hebrews 6:18) (Titus 1:2).
There are some important truths about Salvation that I would like to share with you people of the world. First of all, no one deserves salvation for all are sinners who
have all sinned against God (Romans 3:23), however God loves us all so much that He desires for none to perish but wants all to come to faith in
His Son Jesus (2 Peter 3:9). No one deserves to be saved by God, but the glorious truth is that God loves us so much He wants to save us. You
cannot earn your salvation either (you cannot work for it that is) it is a free gift that God himself provides (that God himself gives that is) by
his grace and mercy to the sinner who believes that Jesus died for them on the cross and arose from the grave. Therefore, all the glory goes to God
and not man. You cannot pay or buy your salvation either it is not for sale, Jesus has already paid the full price for you to enter heaven by his
sacrifice on the cross for you and by his glorious bodily resurrection from the dead. Everyone can receive this free gift of Everlasting life
through Jesus if they would just believe that He died on the cross for their sins and believe He arose again from the grave (John 3:16-18) (Romans 10:9-13) (1 Timothy 1:15). Jesus loves all
people and he wants all people to come to him to be saved (John 10:9) (John 14:6) (Romans 10:13) (Acts 16:30-31).
In Conclusion:
Simply put, If you go to a church that believes you can lose your eternal salvation, you are in a church that is preaching and promoting a false
gospel! Which is really no gospel at all. Tell them the true gospel of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Guide them here to my site. I would love to
share with them the truth from God's Word. If they still choose not to stop preaching and teaching these false gospels after you have shared with
them the true gospel, get up and leave. Find a church that preaches the true gospel of Jesus Christ. One that glorifies and honors our Lord Jesus
by preaching His death, burial, and bodily resurrection from the dead. Go to a church that preaches and teaches Christ died on the cross for all
people, and that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved. One that believes what the bible says, a church that
actually believes and understands what John 3:16 means. Let's look together at this passage of Scripture here below.
John 3:16 (KJV)
16For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son (Jesus), that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
